2. Google
3. Google Play

Short Drama Show Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 20, 2026
Short Drama Show (the “App”) is provided by the Short Drama Show development team. This policy explains how the App and its integrated services handle information when you use the App. Please read it before use. This policy applies to the Android app Short Drama Show (package name: com.sd002.app).
1. Information handled by the App
The App does not require an account or ask you to provide your name, phone number, contacts, precise location, or payment information. This does not include information you voluntarily provide in feedback; advertising and content-service processing is described below. The App does not integrate a separate third-party analytics SDK.
Stored on your device
- Viewing history: drama ID, title, artwork URL, episode number/title, playback position and duration, and last-played time, to support playback history and resumption.
- Favorites: drama ID, title, artwork URL, and the time added.
- Preferences and app state: for example, playback settings and locally stored review-prompt state.
- Diagnostics: if the App crashes, a stack trace may be written to the App’s private storage. The App does not automatically upload these crash files.
- Feedback: if you enter feedback and choose an email app, the content is handed to that app, and you decide whether to send it. If no email app is available, the feedback text is saved in the App’s private storage and is not sent automatically.
This app-private data remains on your device. You can clear history or favorites in the App. Uninstalling the App or clearing its storage removes app-private data. Video data is cached in Android’s cache directory using an LRU cache of up to approximately 512 MB; the App or Android may clear it at any time.
Content-service requests
When you browse, search, paginate, open details, or play a video, the App requests data from content services. Requests may include a drama ID, page number, search term, and content information needed for playback. Content, images, and videos are provided by content or media/CDN services. Those services will generally receive your IP address, request time, and standard device/network and connection metadata. Search terms and drama requests are sent to the relevant services, but the App does not store search terms as local search history.
Content and media/CDN services are operated by third parties. Their logs, retention periods, subsequent uses, and privacy practices are governed by their own policies and are not controlled by the App. Content data is transmitted over encrypted connections. Transport protection for images and videos depends on the connections used by the services providing them.
2. Google advertising and consent management
The App integrates Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) and the Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) for interstitial ads and, where applicable, privacy and advertising-consent choices. UMP obtains consent status. The App requests ads only when Google’s consent status allows it. Whether ads are personalized depends on your region, applicable rules, and choices. Non-personalized or limited ads may still be shown when personalized ads cannot be requested.
The Google Mobile Ads SDK may process or share IP addresses (which may be used to estimate approximate location), advertising and other device identifiers, App interactions (such as app launches, taps, or video views), and diagnostic/performance data for ad delivery, measurement, fraud prevention, and SDK operation. Processing may vary by device, region, consent status, and ad request. Test builds use Google-provided test ad units; production builds use configured production ad units.
If a “Privacy options” entry is available in the App, you can use it to review or change available privacy choices. You can also reset or limit the advertising identifier in Android settings. See the Google Privacy Policy, Google Mobile Ads data disclosure, and UMP documentation.
3. Google Play services
The App may use Google Play in-app updates and the Play review flow. These requests are handled by Google Play services. Google may process app version, Play distribution status, and technical information needed for these flows under its own policies. See the Google Privacy Policy.
4. Retention, security, and deletion
The App has no user account or first-party cloud user database. History, favorites, preferences, feedback fallback files, and crash files remain on the device as described above until you clear the relevant data, clear App storage, or uninstall the App; cache may be cleared earlier by the App or system. If you send feedback to our contact email, we receive your email address, message, and any attachments you choose to provide. We use these to respond, investigate issues, and handle privacy requests, and retain them as needed for these purposes. You may request deletion through that email, except where retention is required by law. Retention by advertising, Google Play, content, and media services is determined by those service providers.
The App retrieves content data over encrypted connections. Data transfers by Google Mobile Ads and connections to other services depend on their actual endpoints and security measures. No internet transmission or electronic storage can be guaranteed completely secure. Please do not include unnecessary sensitive personal information in feedback.
5. Children’s privacy
The App is not designed for children and is not directed to children under 13. The App does not ask children to provide personal information. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us at the email below. Definitions of a child and the age of consent may vary by jurisdiction.
6. Your choices and rights
- Clear viewing history or favorites from the App’s “Profile” page, or clear App storage/uninstall the App through Android settings.
- Use “Privacy options” if available to manage choices supported by UMP, and manage the advertising identifier in Android settings.
- For information sent to Google Play, content, or media/CDN services, you may need to submit requests directly under the relevant service’s privacy policy.
- Contact us below with privacy questions or requests. Because the App does not create user accounts, we generally cannot identify or delete a particular user’s records held by third-party servers on their behalf.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy because of changes to App features, SDKs, or legal requirements. Updated versions will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Where appropriate, we will notify you of material changes through the App or this page.
